I recently got a managed switch with the model SA-01-GE-48T. It works normally, but I can't reach it for management. I tried connecting via serial, but the default settings aren't working—suggests someone changed them. I decided to reset it through the web GUI, though I don't have a password even if I could log in. It seems the router is set to a static external IP address. I'm unsure how to perform a factory reset or access it further. Any suggestions?

I spent roughly three hours trying to fix this. I realized the Cisco console cables aren't compatible with this model. I followed a suggestion on Google to use a rollover cable, and it resolved the issue.

other sources mention similar wiring guides and reset instructions. it can be frustrating when trying to locate specific details for a particular product.
