What game configurations are you using? Record GPU activity with MSIAfterburner instead of the task manager. Is the GPU operating near full capacity and what is the temperature reading? At 1440p resolution, I’m seeing consistent FPS around 2060S with high settings, but I can’t confirm those exact numbers for every title. For my 2080 Super, I expect 80-90 FPS or lower at 1440p when settings are set to high or ultra. On average, I maintain medium settings in games on a GPU that’s roughly 50% more powerful at that resolution.
