Unable to establish a connection with NordVPN over public Wi-Fi networks.
I visited the mall today and needed to browse the Internet using its WiFi connection. When it asked me to accept, I simply tapped "accept." I’m able to access the web normally, but not through a NordVPN server. I tried connecting to another server, but it keeps showing "Connecting..." without ending. There aren’t many other customers around, and it’s not a large store. This isn’t satisfying for me. I’ve faced the same issue with several public WiFi spots. I need to be able to join a NordVPN connection regardless of the network. It seems either my internet speed is too slow for a reliable VPN link, or there are security protocols in place that block access. I’m unsure if it’s my connection quality or something built into the WiFi systems. Have others experienced similar difficulties? Anyone who uses a VPN service like NordVPN can connect to a public WiFi network without trouble? How can I consistently get through to a VPN server on public networks? Thanks.
I resolved it; I needed to adjust the app settings and enable TCP... haha
