I'm having trouble identifying the problem. Issues like loading emote pictures, website logins, and video buffering all take a long time. My connection feels normal—games run with the same ping, videos play without lag, and streaming works perfectly. Speed tests confirm my internet should be adequate. I've updated DNS to Google, restarted the router, run ipconfig commands, refreshed DNS, reset network settings, and checked the cable. I haven't reinstalled drivers yet. To diagnose further, you could try running a speed test from another device or using an online service to check for latency and packet loss.

Regarding your modem, if you use fiber, you might need to restart it sometimes.

The image in this discussion isn't displaying properly, as the page still shows a loading indicator. It should appear immediately.

Ah I have a router/modem, so it's the same thing. Thanks though!

Check if it uses a wireless link or an Ethernet connection. If it relies on a PCIe Wi-Fi card, the drivers might be compromised.

Ethernet is the network type you're referring to. Since you believe your device should work fine on the same network, the issue might lie with your PC. I'll attempt to reinstall the Ethernet drivers next—this could resolve the problem.

Are there any fixed IP addresses configured on your router or unique DNS configurations on your computer that overlap with the router's DNS settings?

Check your system specs including the motherboard and computer brand if built. Look into Killer Network QOS or similar tools, as well as other companies' solutions. For Dell systems, they may already have Smartbyte preloaded for network QOS. Try booting in safe mode with networking enabled to see if it works.
