Unable to delete Windows 10 from Windows Update.

You can disable Windows 10 from the update settings by going to Update & Security, selecting "Update options," and choosing "Disable updates for this PC." Let me know if you need further help.

I saw a suggestion about upgrading to Windows 10, but it seems like a permanent switch might be required... I’m not sure if that’s true. Best of luck!

You haven’t set up Windows 10 yet; it remains in Windows Update on your Windows 8 device.

No, I don’t have Windows 8.1. It seems you’re noticing a difference in updates between versions.

I still have Windows 8.1 installed. Notices keep popping up about Windows 10 being ready to install, appearing each time I check Windows Update. Haha. I intended to get an ISO file for Windows 10 instead of the installer, so I could try running it on a virtual machine. It’s worth mentioning that after an hour of use, the icons look quite poor.
