I purchased the MSI x470 gaming plus max and 3700x with Gigabyte GEFORCE RTX 2060 super gaming OC. I used a Gamdias talos m1a case. The issue here is that my motherboard already includes an ARGB (actually JRGB) setting, which limits how much I can adjust the fan speed. Do you have any options to connect via the motherboard? TIA

The RGB header type has nothing to do with fan speeds. You can adjust the fan settings directly in the UEFI and modify the fan curve as needed.

In reality, your RGB header uses a 4-pin connector, yet connecting it for speed control isn't possible since it only supports 3 pins.
