Hi everyone, I’m used to PC building and troubleshooting but this problem is really puzzling. Here’s what happened: After replacing the air cooler with an Asus ProArt 360mm radiator on my ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi board, it started working fine. But now it keeps booting into the DRAM light without any response. I didn’t notice any issues before, so this is unexpected. I’ve tried several fixes: changed the RAM to a known good set, used different RAM slots with one confirmed working stick, put the CPU from 7800X3D to 7600X, swapped the motherboard to ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI, and updated BIOS with Q-Flash on both boards. I also checked if RAM was properly seated and let the system boot for at least half an hour each time. I tested without any GPU or SSD. I’m unsure what’s causing this. It might be interference leading to a short circuit, which would be unusual since all mounting screws are secure. Another possibility is a faulty CPU or a defective Corsair cable. I’ve attached some photos for reference. Please forgive the disorganized notes—I just wanted to share what’s going on. My setup includes: CPU – AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, Motherboard – ASUS ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, RAM – Corsair DDR5 Vengeance RGB 2x16GB, 6000 CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K, GPU – Asus ProArt 4070, PSU – Corsair RM750x (2018), Case – Fractal North White, SSD – Samsung 980 Pro 2TB.

I recommend using the standard cables again. Also, ensure your CPU block is oriented 180 degrees. If air pockets appear in the loop, they should move to the radiator rather than remaining trapped in the block or pump assembly. Have a great day!

Remove all parts and place them outside the case. The motherboard box is designed to be anti-static, which can prevent any short circuits from the case. A good feature of Ryzen 7000 and 9000 CPUs is that they include integrated GPUs, so you don’t need to connect a separate GPU for testing.

The data is placed incorrectly, training won't happen if it's in slots A1/B1 (slots 1 and 3). Adjust it to slots A2/B2 (slots 2 and 4) and it should function properly.

I understand. I had to follow this method so the AIO cables would fit with the GPU. THANK YOU. You were very helpful. After making that change, it started up immediately. The XMP settings were re-enabled and everything is functioning properly now. I typed these instructions from my PC. Your advice was useful, though the tip from RONOTHAN helped a lot and wasn't necessary.

It seemed like a possibility but after another read you noted you tried individual sticks in the slots, which made me skip that part. Thanks for getting it fixed.

I also believed that way once. Good to hear everything is functioning properly now.
