I'm trying to load a G3 at 400MHz but it won't boot to the CD I burned for me. I need to upgrade to macOS 10.4, but I spent two DVDs searching for a fix. These CDs should work with regular MacOS (9.2.2 and 10.0), though on 10.0 classic crashes with an "address error" even when extensions are off. I'm getting frustrated saving this thing...

Do you rely on CDs or DVDs? Your message mentions both.
Where did you obtain the ISO file? Which computer were you using to write it to a disc?

I attempted to install 10.3 using a CD setup and 10.4 with a DVD drive. I located the ISO file online and am trying to burn the discs using Windows, since I’m unsure if my G3 model supports a dedicated burner.

Are you sure the G3 doesn't lack a DVD slot? Do you have Tiger CD copies available?

This version isn't available on the CD images. The G3 model features a slot loading design and includes a DVD drive (blueberry 400MHz with two FireWire ports).

I sent a message and tried those methods. Check if they work for you. You should be able to burn them on a Windows PC without problems. I typically use ImgBurn. Not every slot loader comes with DVD drives on all iMacs that ship. It looks like yours did, but several other 400MHz loaders didn’t.
