I recently purchased an LG B4 55 inch and haven’t managed to achieve 4K at 120Hz with my Vivobook Pro 15 OLED N6506. I’ve gone through all the instructions on RTings.com, ensuring the HDMI deep colour is set correctly and the video/audio optimizer is enabled. I’ve used three brand new HDMI 2.1 cables from trusted manufacturers. My laptop has an RTX 4060 GPU with a stable power supply and an HDMI 2.1 port that supports 4K at 120Hz (confirmed by Asus support). I tested the connection on ports 3 and 4 of the TV, but I’m certain all four ports work for this resolution. The GPU drivers are current, and the TV’s software is up to date. While my games run smoothly at 4K 120Hz on the laptop, the display settings in Windows don’t allow it—only 60Hz appears as the maximum. What could be going wrong?

The laptop probably won’t support 4K120 over HDMI. Its description as a TMDS-capable port suggests it lacks the necessary bandwidth for that resolution and frame rate.
