We acquired our new modem and ISP (Australian broadband) roughly a month ago. Despite following all the steps, I’m still unable to open ports on my router. I entered the necessary information, pressed apply, but nothing changes. Ports are blocked by my router according to openportchecker.com, netstat, and even when friends attempt connections they can’t get through. I’ve tried various solutions: disabling UPNP, enabling it, using firewall rules, adjusting router channels, DNS settings, changing bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz), and even testing with ports other than 25565 for Minecraft. My internal IP is locked in, and I’ve confirmed the port forwarding table settings are correct. I also restart the server after any changes to ensure it hasn’t reset itself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your query refers to setting up your ISP's network versus connecting a personal device to their modem/router.

The nbn included a built-in modem, and I've linked the asus router to it as far as I understand.
