Hello, I'm experiencing significant connectivity problems with my home network (ping consistently above 100) and even better performance over 4G. When playing games such as Age of Empires 3 or NBA 2K, I can log in but struggle to join lobbies or games. My download speeds are about 7Mb/s, while upload drops to a frustrating 0.4Mb/s. Could you help figure out why some games work on 4G but not others? Your reported speeds suggest there might be an issue with the network quality or bandwidth allocation.

Improve your internet connection. If it's not working well, you might face serious problems without a paddle.

Check if Windows identifies the network correctly using netsh command. You can adjust settings via XML configuration, and if needed, connect a USB bridge to the network adapter.

Are you connected to Wi-Fi? Do you have an AT&T modem? Are you connecting via the router provided? If you answered yes to any of these, consider using a wired Ethernet connection, since the AT&T router can slow down your Wi-Fi.

The reason certain games function while others don’t comes down to how often the game verifies your connection. Some titles may stop working due to minor delays, even if they seem smooth to the player.
