The game timer keeps increasing without stopping. Eventually, a message appears stating that no server with acceptable ping is available. It seems strange since my brother on the same network can join matches easily. Have others faced this problem or discovered a fix? Thanks for any advice!

No, I haven't adjusted your maximum ping in the settings.

I haven't mentioned it much yet, but I'm trying to keep things reasonable so I remain competitive. Thanks for your prompt reply!

Increasing your highest allowed ping doesn’t automatically raise your in-game latency, it just expands the number of lobbies you can access. Assigning a max ping of 300 doesn’t guarantee you’ll land on a random server with 250 ping.
