Hey! Your new 9950X with the AORUS X870 ELITE WIFI7 and 2x32GB Kingston Fury seems to be running okay based on the BIOS info. The Cinebench score of 381 looks good, so there might be something else affecting performance. I checked the AMD Ryzen Master and everything seems to be within normal ranges—power draw around 100W, temps in the 60s, and EXPO at 6000MHz. You mentioned trying updates, drivers, a different PSU, and tweaking TDP, but nothing changed much. Could you double-check if your CPU cooler is properly seated or if there are any fan noises? Also, ensure your motherboard supports the Fury memory configuration. Let me know what happens next!

Windows uses the power plan configured in the system settings, which can be selected during startup or via the Power Options menu.

Use HWInfo in Sensors Only mode, locate the button resembling a paper clip, run Cinebench, wait for completion, and follow the instructions to save the generated log file.

Optimal results aren't due to issues, since identical performance was achieved on a fresh drive with just Cinebench installed. Completed, I reached a score of 370 (Multi Core), peak temperature 61.1ºC; peak power 123W, average 100W in CB_Test.CSV.

It should be significantly greater. I earn more than 2000 on my 9900X.

I understand... It looks like the CPU is stuck in an ECO mode and it never exceeds 100-120 watts.

I handle 300w with PBO on my 9900X. If clearing the CMOS didn’t work, I might try a quick BIOS update. I generally don’t like Ryzen Master.

I flashed it already (two times) with the latest version, enabled PBO on the BIOS, no change. With the bios the mobo came with the performance was the same. Could I have a defective CPU?

I’m uncertain about this and need some time to think it through on the peak.
