Hello, I’m seeking a better internet plan in London. Right now I’m getting around 12mbs down and a bit less than 1mbs up. I operate a small business from home, run a media production company mainly handling videos and live streams, and play some games. I’m currently using Sky for broadband with both FTTC and ADSL connections at my place. I’ve tried various providers, reached out to several, but most only wanted me to sign up or refused. I also considered community-based installations, but the companies I spoke with couldn’t push forward due to pricing and location issues. A lease line seemed like the best path, though quotes varied widely in price and method. Ideally, I’m looking for something under £300 a month, willing to invest if it delivers value. The providers mentioned were Virgin Media Business (which appears to use TV signals, not fiber), and others with different contract lengths and speeds. My main concern is whether there are alternative options available, especially for business lines in the UK. Any advice or experiences from others would be greatly appreciated.
