Hi everyone! My neighbor asked if I could reinstall Windows 8.1 for her, so I said yes and got her laptop. I used a USB drive with Windows 8.1 .iso to install it. After plugging in the USB, it worked fine. But when I tried to boot, the Asus screen would keep restarting or stay off. I thought she might not have a suitable boot drive. I set all USB options as first priority for booting, but that didn’t help. Any advice? Thanks!

I encountered a problem with a friend's laptop running Windows 8, which came with a UEFI setup. I managed to restore it using a DVD.
