I installed Windows 10 on a new Samsung SSD after replacing a failed SanDisk drive. The system was set to boot only from the Samsung SSD, and I tried various methods including fixing boot entries and using UEFI options. However, the PC still wouldn't select it properly. I discovered that launching CMD from a bootable USB and running bcdedit c:\windows /s c: /f UEFI resolved the issue.
The problem isn't related to the UEFI setup. It concerns the Windows setup on the Samsung SSD. What GParted displays?
