UEFI functionality restored for AsRock B450M Steel Legend boots, CSM turned off.
Hey everyone, I attempted to turn off CSM on my motherboard in order to activate higher-level decoding and resizable bar mode, a process I've repeated several times on similar boards before. However, this time the system won't boot into Windows and immediately returns me to the UEFI main menu without any interaction like pressing F2 or DEL. I tried disabling CSM, then re-enabling it, but when I launch Windows, the SAM for my RX 6900 XT appears as unavailable. GPUz indicated these settings were disabled in BIOS. When I return to BIOS, they remain enabled but appear grayed out, as if inactive, until I disable CSM again. The latest BIOS version I'm using has worked fine on other B450 and B550 boards, so I haven't encountered any issues logging into Windows with CSM turned off. What's happening? P.S. I suspect there might be an issue with the system drive being set to MBR instead of GPT, and it seems even more complicated than expected. It looks like a full system reinstall might be necessary.
