Sorry but Ubisoft will manage to pull off this move. Recently the PC community is divided into two groups. One values the quality of a port, while the other prioritizes gameplay experience. If you belong to the former group, you might be disappointed by the preorders from the latter. For example, some are okay with black borders in Evil Within. Really? You invested in a 16:9 display and now only see 75% of it. How can that feel immersive? The original reason for using consoles was to maintain a higher frame rate stability. Honestly, those who claim it’s immersive might be losing their mind and will tolerate any developer decisions.

The elite should launch a decisive campaign against these dissenters and false prophets, completely eliminating them. Those who control the press must face consequences.

We value games deeply. They're being watered down because of console limitations; they're being restricted because of console constraints; they're being simplified due to these issues. It's enough of a problem. Ubisoft stands out as a clear example of what we dislike.
