Hey everyone, have you encountered any issues with Ubisoft titles? Games like Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Assassin's Creed II, Far Cry 3 and Splinter Cell have been crashing frequently. It's not just occasional freezes—it often completely halts my PC, requiring me to press the power button to shut it down. Other games I can run smoothly include Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3, Crysis, Crysis 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and more. It seems these Ubisoft releases are problematic.

It usually happens after about 5 to 10 minutes of play, then the system just freezes instantly without any frame drops. I suspect the issue isn't with my hardware; my specs are:

- XFX Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR
- AMD FX-8320 Black Edition 3.5GHz (Cooler Master T2 Cooler)
- Gigabyte GA-99FXA-UD7
- 16GB G.Skill Ares RAM
- 550w XFX Core Edition PSU
- Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
- Windows 8.1 64bit

If anyone else is facing similar problems or knows a fix, please let me know. It's frustrating not being able to enjoy these games despite their quality. Thanks!

Yes, but limited to a 1000MHz core clock (originally 800MHz) and a 1375MHz memory clock (originally 1250MHz).
It operates stably on any game except Ubisoft titles.
Most of the time I use stock clock speeds.

Yeah, but certain games don't appreciate original content. Try playing with stock assets and check if the issue persists.

I assume you're running the most recent updates and drivers, plus a genuine copy.

All new versions are available for download from disc, Ubisoft or Steam. Do the games automatically upgrade to the newest release when launched via the Ubisoft launcher? If not, what steps should be taken?

same issue with all my Ubisoft titles is really frustrating. I've checked multiple sources, even the Ubisoft forums, but it hasn't worked.
