This update seems to miss the mark once more, following Ubisoft's usual pattern. Despite promises to fix many lingering problems from patch 4, the release has been pushed back, leaving fans like me frustrated. I recently purchased AC Unity because of a 50% discount on Amazon, hoping it would arrive with the much-anticipated update. Disappointing indeed.

What do you think they should do? Releasing it early and in a broken state isn’t helpful. A deal should aim to improve things, not create unnecessary delays. They should have postponed the release instead of dropping a poor version.

The only chance they had to mess up the recovery was if the patches were released first as DLC.

We place a high priority on strict quality assurance. Releasing a solid game matters more than rushing out a patch that needs months of fixes. It’s better to avoid broken updates than to deliver something incomplete.

Well, the idea is to release the patch once it's mostly done, or just ignore some problems. It's pointless turning this into a joke since I don’t think it’ll be any more entertaining.

They repeated the same issues across different patches, with minimal improvements. Some updates even made the game harder. It’s been a month since the release, and many players can’t play it anymore.

It's not about asking for a refund. The update is coming, but it's disappointing since I spent 30 dollars and can't get instant satisfaction. I understand they offered a discount, but it's still frustrating. Ubisoft also pushed back the release of AC:U by a month, apparently.

They wouldn't slow things down just to make it worse on purpose. I think the other patches they pushed back would have been even worse without that delay. The issue is that impatient players like OP want quick fixes or immediate results, so Ubishit jumps in to release things fast.

OP believes the product should be perfect and worth the price. Despite three major delays, the game remains faulty, and the issue continues to persist.

It's understandable, I made a choice to purchase something that wasn't fully functional. I hoped the issue would be resolved once the update arrived.
