Last year I became really interested in "Black Flag" — I got the poster, the statue, and completed the game at about 94%. I also enjoyed Far Cry 3. This year I chose to pre-order both titles from Ubisoft's online store. I'm from the United Arab Emirates, which is part of the Middle East. It makes sense that shipments arrived from Germany since the region is often grouped with Europe. When I received the AC Unity Shipment on November 14th, I contacted DHL to check delivery details. They told me it wasn't traceable. A day later they said it was found but was on hold. By the 17th, updates showed it had been picked up under an unusual name. DHL explained that the sender hadn't finished the paperwork, so they returned the package. They mentioned another sender had more than 50 similar shipments returned, likely all pre-orders. My second order hasn't been picked up yet — it's still marked as "Shipment Information Received" since November 17th. I reported both cases to Ubisoft Support and Middle East on the 19th, but they didn’t respond at all. What’s going on with Ubisoft? Did this issue affect only my UAE orders or was it broader? Please share your thoughts.

Refuse the order and keep your payment safe. They don’t deserve it. My time with DHL was terrible too—definitely the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had.

Ubi isn't even a good target for piracy. Choose your support wisely—back their work instead of backing their profits. Let them fade away, just like the others before them.

no one discusses AC Rogue because it’s out and it looks like a natural progression from Black Flag. If it works well, why isn’t more attention given? It seems like everyone focuses on unity online, which makes the new release stand out in a strange way .

No reply from Ubisoft yet after DHL notified me on the 17th. They just took my money for two games—no refunds and no explanation at all.

Ubisoft Middle East just messaged me on Twitter and requested I submit a complaint form. I actually did it on the 19th and even added the ticket number to my original post!

It's actually a good game, though it's still not done.

It's likely not fair to point the finger at Ubisoft when the issue lies with the delivery process. The problem seems to be in the logistics, not the game itself.
