Also, adding IPS to UniFi will significantly reduce the router's speed. The USG will drop to 80 Mb/s on WAN and USG Pro to 150 Mb/s. Only the most costly USG XG can handle 1Gb/s with IPS active. Generally, most users won’t need it, but it’s good to be aware of its impact.
