How near are your WiFi 6 gadgets to the AX11000? Is the router set up in the middle of the house without blocking signals? Are there any barriers like walls or floors between the equipment and the wireless access point? Is the building made mostly of concrete or metal? What connection speeds are being shown by the adapters on your devices? Which results are you seeing from your speed tests?

I've experimented with different placements and ranges, from close to the router to wider setups. The AX11000 sits in the middle, but it seems the homeowners chose to place the fiber inside a cupboard without any Ethernet setup, which isn't very helpful. I suspect distance and obstacles might affect the Wi-Fi signal, though I didn’t anticipate this when the device was directly in line of sight within 2 meters. The building’s interior walls are mostly drywall and timber frames. I’m unsure about the exact speeds for iPhones, but my desktop PC shows 1.9Ghz and my laptop reports around 2.4Ghz.

Verify your measurement units. Frequency is expressed in Hertz (and related values), while data rates are given in bits per second (and related). If you intended a 2.4Gbps connection on the wireless adapter, that suggests a high-quality adapter with capability for more than double streaming, which is uncommon for WiFi 6 clients. For WiFi 5 models, a better fit would be support for 4x4 streams or higher. Consider these additional steps: Capture a screenshot of the AX11000’s WiFi configuration page and share it. Omit any sensitive information. Perform a wireless survey and note the channel output on 5GHz frequencies from the ‘Analyze’ section. Turn off AiMesh, AiProtection, QoS (already done), Traffic Analyzer, and Smart Connect under Wireless. Assign unique SSIDs to each band so you can confirm you’re using the 5GHz band and not letting the router auto-select. If OFDMA or MU-MIMO is turned off on 5GHz, enable it for both downlink and uplink. It’s unclear if universal beamforming is required—test enabling and disabling it to observe results.

It appears there was a mistake in your request, thank you for clarifying. I noticed no photos attached, but I can confirm the settings you mentioned. There seems to be no option to disable AIMesh directly, and the current configuration includes QoS disabled, Traffic Analyzer off, Smart Connect off, and Universal Beam enabled. I've also disabled OFDMA/MU-MIMO after taking the screenshot. Please note these were taken from your laptop, not your desktop.

The survey you mentioned works only on the 2.4GHz band. Make sure to also perform the 5GHz analysis. Also, set the channel to 6 on the 2.4GHz network since your current configuration is conflicting with another WiFi source on channel 11.

It seems the issue persists across different connection speeds, possibly due to older WiFi driver versions. I also notice you're seeing about 700Mbit with 2x2 MIMO, which is consistent.
