Hello everyone!
I recently acquired some older Ryzen components and tested them one by one in my PC. Everything functioned perfectly.
Now the issue arises—I don’t see any display when all parts are connected together.
Details:
- Asus Prime A320M-k (same model I already have)
- R5 2600
- Corsair 2x4Gb 3000mhz RAM
- Asus Gtx 1060
- Thermaltake Smart BM2 550w / CM Masterwatt Lite 400w
- Zalman S4 case
- Kingston A400 256Gb x2
I reset the CMOS multiple times, re-seated the RAM, checked all cables—no loose connections. I replaced the PSU (previously 400w) because I believed a 30A rating wasn’t sufficient for Ryzen. Switched cases and tested without one; none worked.
Also tried different RAM modules (they all worked before), cleaned the RAM ports and sticks.
No display on DP or HDMI.
The PSUs can power an i7-3770 system with higher TDP.
No USBs connected (not even a mouse or keyboard).
I’m a bit stuck since there are no LED indicators, and the BIOS is up to date—I updated it using a first-gen Ryzen.
Any suggestions?

Your motherboard might be causing issues because of some bracket or screw that isn't needed. It could also be that your PSU is too weak. The recommended minimum is 600w, but a 500w Ryzen CPU won't suffice. Consider removing the motherboard and testing it inside a cardboard box to see if it works.

Also verify the PSU using a paper clip test, just to see what it is. Check your RAM, which is usually the RAM amount. Put it in A2 and B2. If that didn’t work, try A1 and B2. Then use a single stick on A2 and later B2.
