Your Pihole is handling up to 80 IOPS at a time, but you're seeing warnings that it's hitting 1600+ consistently. This suggests your workload is higher than typical expectations. Adjusting the logging style might help by filtering or summarizing the data, which could reduce the number of IOPS reported.

The 1600 IOPS figure seems quite high—how many devices are checking your Pihole? Have you reviewed your traffic statistics?

Have you just shared a public resolver online? I think exposing your service means it’s attempting to track every botnet traffic, putting it under heavy strain.

I’m using multiple security measures to block random devices. It seems some settings have shifted or stopped working, which is why the issue is now frequent. Reports show up to 4773, but currently only about three devices are active—excluding a router with 18 connections.
