I recently purchased a new SSD and now I'm facing some issues. After installing a fresh OS, I labeled the drive as A:. Now I need it to switch to C:. So far, I've reformatted the old partition, but pagefile.sys is still there. I really want to replace my old Windows installation with the new SSD, or essentially start over with the new drive. Thank you for your assistance.

First, switch the C drive to another location. Next, replace A with C. Finally, revert C back to A.

It could be due to one of them being a virtual drive.
