Pfsense might handle everything on a single device, but it depends on whether it saves time and money compared to using two routers.

You can handle both networks using the PC, but you’ll need three network cards—one for the router/modem’s internet connection and one for each network. I suggest choosing the two routers option mentioned earlier rather than my approach, unless you’re ready to purchase a dedicated networking PC along with multiple cards.

It's a bit more involved than expected... buying a router means weighing price against capabilities. FPSense offers solid features, while affordable dedicated network devices exist, making the decision about the setup effort and benefits important.
