You asked about the delivery details for your Ryzen 5900X order. The date listed is likely for everyone in the batch, not just a second shipment. The store staff didn’t know much about Ryzen CPUs. Regarding your B550 Aorus Master, you won’t need to update the BIOS unless you want to use a newer CPU model—just plug it in and it should work fine.

Based on my knowledge, a 500 series chipset would work seamlessly with the 5000 series processor.

If the board doesn’t mention it’s compatible with Ryzen 5000, you’ll likely need a BIOS update. This applies to most B550 or X570 models available now. The problem isn’t a big concern if the board includes a BIOS flash feature without a CPU. The Aorus Elite and Master seem to offer this, so you should be okay.

I also received the 20th as a delivery date, but after payment confirmation it was changed to an earlier time. If I’m clear, when you place a pre-order with a scan, they don’t finalize the payment but simply lock in the funds until shipping is ready. This approach simplifies refunds because they only release the hold, not process a full refund.

They sent two different messages on the 20th and tomorrow. It’s unlikely it will happen tomorrow, but I’ll just have to wait and check again

After payment was completed, we received a delivery date for Monday as planned. Although it arrived a bit later than anticipated, it’s still within an acceptable range and not unexpected.

They confirmed the payments were made via email on November 6th. It seems uncertain since it hasn’t shipped yet, though the invoice lists an estimated delivery for November 20th. I’m really hoping it arrives by Monday, which would mean my new motherboard and RAM will be ready.
