I'm looking at used mobos for my workstation build, I waver between a super small form factor plan & a plan with room to grow. But wether I look at itx or upper teir ATX & eatx/xlatx the two brands that stick out are: SFF: -ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I Gaming -gigabyte X570 I AORUS PRO Room to grow: -ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming -gigabyte x570 auros pro, elite, ultra, or extreme What Mobo would you recommend? Is there a substantial difference between gigabyte & Asus?
You'll get comparable results from those options—it depends on the other components and the overall design. I prefer the appearance of STRIX products, and I appreciate their software too. My motherboard and GPU are already STRIX, which is great. Overall, it comes down to aesthetics and functionality. Also, customer service and warranty matters.
Absolutely, I also like the appearance of STRIX hardware. It looks quite similar!
I personally prefer the appearance of Gigabyte. Since there isn't a GPU available to pair with my Mobo, I'm using a Quadro card instead.
