hello everyone, i'm trying to figure this out. i have two pcs: one with an i9-11900k and a 3080 graphics card, 32gb ram at 240hz, and another with an i3-10100f, 1060 graphics, 6gb ram in dual channels, also 240hz. when playing valorant, my first pc usually runs at 250-400 fps with high settings and feels very smooth, while my second pc runs around 250-300 fps even with the lowest setting. both have a 240hz monitor, but the first feels much smoother. i'm sorry for the bad english, hope this makes sense. thanks for your help!

Consider aspects such as the 99/99.9% frames or their opposite extremes like the 1% or 0.1% low points. Even with high FPS, frequent drops can make it feel less fluid. This is why a consistent 30 FPS on consoles often feels smoother than a fluctuating 60 FPS. Frame stability plays a key role in that smooth experience.

Review the frame times, 1% and 0.1% benchmarks. Even without checking the data, I can say that the 8-core 16-thread processor with 16MB cache offers better performance than the 4-core 8-thread model with just 6MB cache.
