Two-in-one connectors on an 8-pin board?
Hi, I just got my first gaming PC and chose an i3 10100f, an h410m, plus an ASUS Prime board and 16GB RAM. I had a 700W Thermaltake power supply and an RX570 motherboard before. My issue is that my new board has an 8-pin connector for the processor, but my power supply only has one 8-pin and two 4-pin connectors. I’m worried the 4-pin connectors won’t work if I just use the 2x4 ones. Thanks for your help!
The 4+4 section provides your EPS power for the CPU. Avoid inserting the 6+2 blocks intended for GPUs into this area.
