Hi There,
I just got two 6850k's Broadwell-E CPUs for testing. I plan to use one for my rig and send the other back. I’m wondering if there’s a simple and quick way to see which one performs better as an overclocker? Should I focus on finding the model with the lowest Vcore on stock settings using benchmarking tools like Prime95?

The simplest approach would likely be to increase their speeds to stock levels and then stress-test them. The first to break down is the losing one.

The simplest approach seems to be increasing their speeds to the default settings and testing them under stress. The first to break is the losing one.
