I understand some recent power supplies have slightly altered their specifications. The PG (POWER GOOD) signal has dropped to around 80 milliseconds, leading to issues with standard power supply testers. ATX guidelines recommend it stay between 100ms and 500ms. It's unclear how this impacts older boards, though. I own a unit with an 80ms PG signal that functions properly on an older A320/3200g setup. It's possible Intel boards behave differently... anyone know? @jonnyGURU ??
I'm looking at the power switch first—it tends to fail on accessions and isn't the best connector. Then I'm thinking about resetting the CMOS after any hardware changes, though I'm not sure if that's a real solution. Hope this helps!
