The only idea that comes to mind is a higher price, but Apple could improve the phone. They still provide screens for the 11 model, though they’re more expensive than the device itself. It seems a third-party display might work if you just need to transfer data. Some wireless keyboards and mice support iOS, but unless you already have one connected, you’ll likely need the touchscreen to link.
