A few days back there were intense thunderstorms in my area and the power went out. Yesterday it came back on, turned on the TV, and worked for a short time before images started scrolling occasionally. I’ve experienced this before about once a year, and the previous fix was to unplug it, let it sit for a while, then plug it back in. This time it didn’t help, so I’m reaching out for your assistance with the video VID_20230806_140331791.mp4.
When this occurs with several inputs across different video devices (game consoles, streaming players, cable boxes, etc.), it's likely one of the TV's internal control boards is malfunctioning. Unless the television was very costly, figuring out what needs fixing and finding parts can be difficult, which may mean it's time to upgrade to a new model.
I was worried about that because it seemed to happen before, so I thought Lemon was the reason from the beginning. It was a reasonably cheap Insignia™ 43" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV for just $200, did the job well, and I’m planning to get another one unless I find something better.
