There isn’t a built-in option in Windows to permanently disable it on a timer. You can schedule a shutdown using Task Scheduler, but it won’t hold indefinitely unless you set up a more complex rule. The suggestion from the Microsoft post was limited to locking the PC, which could still be bypassed. For a permanent solution, you might need to rely on another device or use third-party software that supports scheduled power-off features.

Sure thing, but you might want to configure a task scheduler to deliver subtle passive-aggressive messages roughly every few minutes when your computer is running after 11:30 PM.

That would essentially mean configuring it to remain locked at 11:30. I’d just skip it and let it unlock.
