Turning off WiFi via your ISP's router or modem setup
You shouldn't disable the wireless settings on the ISP-provided modem/router. It should remain enabled for proper connectivity.
It’s best to keep the Wi-Fi off. This helps prevent the router and cables from experiencing drops, reduces lag in games, and avoids overall instability. It also helps keep the device cooler. I usually turn it off and use a dedicated quality router instead. Unless your ISP offers a specific model like Cisco or HP, just switch it on.
