Sparks came out of the outlet and it’s now completely nonfunctional. The replacement fuse in the cord didn’t help. Likely what endured was the device itself, though it probably suffered damage from the incident.

you simply removed the power cable from the PSU, and now it doesn’t work. A sudden power cut isn’t likely to destroy anything, but the connection to the power source might be the issue. What are the specifications of the power supply?

Disconnected the plug from an extension cord and caused a spark. RYZEN 5 3600 with 32GB, Corsair Vengeance, MSI B450M, ATX, MSI 1660 Super Zalman Gigamax 750 watt, Samsung 870 1TB X2.
