At first, the game Trove worked smoothly without any delays. After roughly three weeks, it started to lag slightly. I’m unsure if this is related to other games I downloaded or something else. I’m trying to figure out why it happens and how to stop it, especially since it affects multiple games.

I recently purchased a new PC and experienced the same issue, though not as severe. I observed a minor frame loss—around 1 to 2 frames—which isn’t significant but still noticeable. I often attribute it to hardware wear, but it seems unlikely given the PC’s age of about six days.

I recommend testing these four adjustments and let me know the results. Disable FXAA, turn off VSYNC, eliminate tripple buffering, and use Nvidia Inspector for pre-tested game profiles. Read the instructions carefully.

It's located in the Nvidia Control panel. Right-click the desktop, select Nvidia Control Panel, then navigate to 3D settings on the top left. Adjust Image Settings with Preview, ensure you're using the advanced 3D Image Settings beneath the spinning Nvidia logo, and click Take me there to access the Manage 3D Settings page for configuring your GPU.
