There seems to be no straightforward method left to disable the login prompt for pin or Hello Windows. You've already tried registry changes and group policy, so you might need to explore advanced settings or contact Microsoft support for further assistance.

Set a PIN and on the lock screen tap to enter a password, it will remember it. A PIN offers better security than a password for frequently used devices. You can use a complex password with a simple PIN for easier recall and daily use, improving the login process. Additionally, if your PIN is discovered, the intruder won’t be able to reach your Microsoft account, preventing purchases, subscription changes, or access to stored data like privacy info from Cortana or Edge. They also can’t locate your device through the “Where is my device” feature if it’s enabled.

Thanks but I still want to not have a pin because I have a strong password and don't need an easier login experience.
