I was refreshing my bios on my MSI X470 gaming plus motherboard, around 95% complete. The power cut off and now it won’t start up—my fans, GPU, and other components are working fine, but I see a black screen with no flashing. I’ve tried resetting the CMOS by touching the pins together, pressing a button, and removing the battery for ten minutes, but nothing changed. I suspect I might have damaged the motherboard.

If the power failed during the update, it's a total loss. Luckily, the issue is under warranty.

Check out this video about a year ago—it could be useful. Luckily my motherboard is still okay.
