Turbo Boost always on?
Turbo Boost always on?
It's definitely not a bad thing...lol...it's there to keep your CPU running at maximum clock speed, which is great in my opinion. But if you prefer your CPU to save power when it's not in use and you enjoy using speed step to reduce power consumption, then maybe that's a good fit...
I still keep my turbo on all the time...a sneaky way of making your multiplier consistently one notch higher...lol...
By the way, you didn't mention the motherboard you have...lol...
Hey, what mother board do you have? If it's an evga it has a feature in the bios that forces turbo to be on all the time...
and I'm pretty sure you can turn it off if you want...

Hi, I understand you're facing the same issue with your I7 4790 and MSI H81M P33 board. After updating the socket driver, what should I do next?
