TUF X570 is trapped in an infinite startup cycle.

I'm dealing with a TUF X570 system and added a Ryzen 7 3800XT. The XT series CPUs are quite new, so I worry about needing a BIOS update but don’t have another CPU to test. Right now it’s stuck in an infinite boot loop. I’ve changed RAM, graphics card, power supply, and used a working hard drive, yet the issue persists. Could flashing the BIOS to support XT CPUs help? Is this the main problem?

Based on my understanding, you should install the latest bios update before the one labeled "ComboPI4 1.0.0.2 (V2), version 2407."

afaik x570 requires a BIOS upgrade to enable xt agesa code support. If your device came with outdated BIOS, an update might be necessary. Since the board lacks a BIOS flashback feature, you should contact the vendor or a local computer store to arrange the update.

I’d verify the BIOS version if the system could start, but I found the board predates the XT series chips.

You’ll need to purchase a chip to refresh the BIOS, then take it to a local tech store. I’m not sure if AMD still offers free CPUs for BIOS updates, but it might have been possible in the past.

They might not be available anymore, but a Ryzen 3 APU could still function if they're compatible.

They are indeed there, despite the mention of x470. You can reach out via email, but visiting a store or computer shop might be quicker.

Confirm the correct models—there are multiple X570 TUF units with Wi-Fi, some lack it, and availability may vary.

It probably lacks a functional BIOS. If you haven’t upgraded the BIOS yet, look at the serial number labels—one will have a four-digit code indicating the original BIOS version installed (this applies to ASUS devices).
