What's happening? TS3 asked me to install a sound plugin, and now I can't log into my Steam account. It seems Steam is having issues connecting to the network. Am I being hacked or infected with a virus? I can still use Steam through my browser.

Start in offline mode before switching online. I need to restart Steam every time I want to launch it on my PC.

I connected to a TS3 server through a friend, who told me to install a sound plugin. After downloading it, everything changed instantly. My friend is also on the same server, using the same plugin, along with other players...

Thats a known and now typical way of grabbing your info, its a RAT. I suggest running Malwarebytes ASAP

Contact the Steam support. Might take a while, but there's a big chance of getting your account back again. Your skins will be gone though, they don't refund them anymore.
