There's a pretty good chance you got a dead motherboard out of the box, so just know there's a good chance that nothing you do will get this system to turn on. A couple things you can try first: Run single sticks in every memory slot to see if they get the system to boot Reseat the CPU and cooler, checking for lint or damage to the CPU/socket Remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes. If none of those help, return the board and try a replacement. I'd also return the memory and go back to your original since the 6400MT/s XMP won't result in good memory performance since it will be in 2:1 mode.
