Hello,
I just wanted to find out exactly what I need to overclock and if it's actually doable. I watched some videos about it and tried following the instructions. After saving the BIOS settings, the PC wouldn't boot, so I had to reset the CMOS.
My specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, MSI B350 Gaming Plus, Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400, Palit Dual 1060 6GB, beQuiet! 400W.

Begin with a boost to CPU speed. You might need to adjust the voltage. If you're not starting up, extra power could be necessary.
The settings you were adjusting were likely related to this. For better results, consider increasing memory speed to 2666MHz or higher instead of just the CPU alone.
