I checked with him 14 hours back about his memory status, but he didn’t check it. Let him try 2133 at a flat 22s. The board looks good.

QVL shouldn't affect the setup if the motherboard matches the specific memory chips on the dimms—those are reliably Hynix CJR/DJR or Micron revision E/B. The voltages I mentioned should handle even the toughest memory controllers and/or infinity fabric at 3600. Anything missing a proper board configuration or having faulty dimms should still function in this arrangement.

I once thought so until something changed my perspective.

Through extensive testing on various DDR4 platforms—including AM4—I’ve consistently managed to obtain working memory units regardless of manufacturer or motherboard. Occasionally some boards resist proper operation with XMP profiles, but adjusting voltages and timings manually has always succeeded.

I managed to get it running, though it was only a partial success. I needed to create a profile since saving settings would fail if power was turned off in the PSU settings. A fast memory transfer resolved the issue. The swap happened in memory and wasn't on the QVL, which was great. It was just a matter of luck.

Sorry for the delay! It seems the item isn't listed in the QVL for this motherboard. Some users reported success with 3000 rather than 3200, and others suggest that using it outside the QVL might be the best option.

QVLs aren't worth much. Just using RDC and manually setting times takes no more than ten minutes at most. Stability isn't an issue as long as your drama chips are correctly entered into the Ryzen calculator.

Recent news. The BIOS version 3404 (released 2023-10-23) for the TUF GAMING B550-PLUS motherboard is now available, fixing the DOCP issue. Completed four memtest86 tests and the system has been stable for a week. Others who faced problems should be aware.
