I recently bought a factory reset Lenovo ThinkPad T410 from eBay, running Windows 7. I noticed there were no wireless LAN drivers available, so I looked for the right ones and installed them on the device. Despite this, my WiFi (and even Ethernet) isn’t working—I see the network appears but can’t connect. I suspect the issue is that my router supports 802.11n, yet my ThinkPad’s wireless card doesn’t handle it. I’m not very familiar with networking and want to know if I need a new card or should replace the existing one. I’ve attached the seller’s guidance and my device manager options, which I’m still trying to understand.

It is referred to as the Advanced-N 6200 due to its compatibility with 802.11N. This software is intended for the Intel WiFi Link 5150, which can be found near the bottom of the document. The correct options are listed below: Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200, Dual Band

Thank you for your message. It seems the link does not display download options on the page. Could you clarify if you need help with something else?

My bad, usually there's a driver download under the "support" section on those pages. You can get the one from Lenovo or a generic OEM driver, doesn't really matter

It looks like there are numerous Windows 7 choices available. Should I start with the first option or the Intel Wireless LAN (11bgn)? I'm concerned about installing the wrong one and causing issues.

WiMax is designed for the 6250 AGN model, not your specific card. It bothers that Lenovo doesn’t provide the exact part numbers you need. I’d choose this option instead, tailored to your Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200 AGN (Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP) drivers.
