Trying to boost performance on the i5-7600K, need a bit of guidance.
Hello people on the internet, i need you! I don't know how to overclock decently and i need your help and tips, so this is what i did...
My specs:
Case: phanteks p400 eclipse
Mobo: ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING
CPU: i5-7600K
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4 16GTZR Kit 3000 CL15 (2x8GB)
GPU: ASUS GEFORCE STRIX GTX 1060 6G GAMING
PSU: CORSAIR RM550X
CPU cooler: Kraken X52
Storage: SSD samsung evo 500GB
2x 1TB hitachi something
😵
This is my PC:

I got the case its basic fans 1 in top and 1 in back. The 2 basic fans from the kraken x52 in push configuration in the front of the case with the radiator.
for every bench i did it 5 times and took the avg.
I followed this guide: https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/gui...i-extreme/
I didn't use the rog stress test but i used prime 95 (other programs used are CAM for my kraken x52 pump and 2 fans, AI suite 3 for my back and top chassis fan, CPU-Z, cinebench, valley and CPUID HWMonitor.)
Default CPU settings :
Cinebench CPU : 620
cinebench openGL: 125.50 fps
Valley: score 2793, fps: min32,3 max 131.7 avg 66,8
Stress temp after 1h: 60°C
OC: 4,6Ghz @ 1.370v :
Cinebench CPU: 684
cinebench openGL: 131,50 (didn't expect a change lol)
Valley: score 2803 fps: min 33,2 max 129,5 avg 67 (didn't expect a big change either, thought it was nice to include)

I started lowering the voltage and after some time i found myself that my system stays stable after 1h @1.285V & package 70°C (could possible get lower but i took jumps of 0.010V and 1.275 got me an error) So now i keep it at 1.285V in adaptive mode.

Everything i did is all from a simple stupid asus guide. I just have the feeling i could get more out of my pc and there is still alot to learn about overclocking so thats why i am here posting, to listen to you guys and do what you tell me. Also, if you tell something that i have to do or should do, explain what it does, what it means and why. So i can learn about overclocking
After i pumped up my CPU i will overclock my GPU but thats just fucking with the sliders in msk afterburner and doing some stress tests (tips are also welcome for this though).
So now euhhh you can tell me what to change to try make my computer better. I'll listen and try it out

456 pages of overclocking advice. Did you even read the guide?
A official Asus OC guide. Once again did you read it?
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.
Good luck, I have a feeling you'll need it.
Yes i did, still dont understand to much of it.
I asked litle advice and tips from people, i didn't ask you to post a link.
Why do you also have to be rude? From the fact that people wont like you you are not achiving anything with it. Also, i was not only talking about overclocking my cpu but about gpu, rad...

But thanks for doing some effort, mister pessimest.

You have asked no specific question. So you were given a general answer.
The only part of the guide that I know that you read is the statistics portion, since you say and I quote "Im not gonna put random stuff from a chart on my cpu".
What about the rest of the guide?
What are your specific questions?
What are you confused about?
I can't answer a question that hasn't been asked.
You misspelt pessimist.

I'm not english so sorry for that. In the guide they will talk about stuff like bck, or other things in the bios. But i dont understand what it does, what it changes and what it means. (some things are explained though). Also Should i delide my cpu, and why? Is the rad position good? And i would like to buy rgb fans for asus aura, wich ones would you suggest? I can't find articles about there perfomance next to eachother, only about their lighting. Or do you suggest other rgb fans that dont work with aura?. I would like to buy 2 (or 4 if the the standard fans on it are really bad, i think they're pretty loud) fans for extra on my rad, 2 for top or front(depends rad placing) and 1 for the back. Also, what fan splitter do i need for the RGB and power, i dont understand a crap of that either. Only they i understand - i think - is that my rad needs Static Pressure fans and my case High Airflow Fans (correct?) And also what number would you suggest with my setup now, to put in and try out. for as far is i know i have won the silicon lottery if i understand it good and have seen other people there volts @ 4.6Ghz.

I believe you are referring to bclk, bclk is the base clock and can be manipulated to increase cpu clock speed. But it will also overclock other components also like RAM. It's the way all overclocking used to be done, but is not needed if cpu multiplier can be adjusted. You should stick to raising multiplier for now.
"Also Should i delide my cpu, and why?"
No so far your temps are fine, delidding is a last resort step.
"Is the rad position good?"
I like AIO mounted in the front of the case, so yes you are fine here.

As for fans I can't advise on rgb as I don't use them, best advice I can give on fans is don't get caught up in all the trickery of ratings. Buy good fans, my personal favorites are Noctua NF-F12(120mm) and NF-A14 (140mm) these will provide plenty of flow and pressure.
Take your OC slowly, test and monitor temps.
