We’re meeting up again now. The same issue keeps coming up. I didn’t expect it to happen this time. CSGO works well if I set the high values. Maybe 3000MHz will be enough for my rig? Also, for someone just starting out, the Ryzen video I watched long ago was a mistake I made two years back. The shop asked me to buy either 3000mhz or 2666mhz, but now the price has doubled. I went with the cheaper option.

3000 would provide a solid boost in performance, provided your settings stay tight. A budget build should handle CL15 or 16 at that pace, which is fine but not outstanding.

The system suggests it's possible to achieve 3000. Could you tell us what brand your RAM is from?

This setup works for me at least temporarily. From my equipment, it seems the clock speeds are a bit off. I didn’t verify the precise timing, just that it’s around 3.15 GHz with 2666 MHz.

Memory performs well. You can boost it to 3000.

When discussing CPU overclocking, the process feels quite distinct from RAM OC. You notice your top core clock is 3.675 MHz, and the main idea is simply boosting performance by adjusting clock speeds, whereas RAM OC focuses on memory speed tuning. Your approach of raising DRAM to 3000 and setting timings in BIOS is a common method, but keep in mind that overclocking requires careful calibration and testing.

Check the BIOS for DDR4-2933 specifications, then increase the speed gradually until performance issues appear.

Sure, I can run a stress test on AIDA64.

It seems you're asking about reaching a target of 2933. Could you clarify what you mean by "it" and the context? I need more details to assist you properly.

Already powered down, it's already 1:52 AM. Perhaps I'll attempt it tomorrow. No need to adjust the times?
